Cesit Ingegneria is one of the largest independent providers of plant engineering and construction services. A private company wholly controlled by its shareholders, it draws upon a network of about 100 partners, including designers, engineers, technicians and other specialists.

Cesit Ingegneria sees projects as complex, non-linear processes, involving optimised use of the available economic and technological resources. That’s why the expressive and inventive capabilities of its human resources are not an end in themselves, but a means of proposing solutions and winning approval of them. Teamwork is standard practice at Cesit Ingegneria. Only integrated design can provide the right solutions to increasingly complex requirements. This approach has enabled Cesit Ingegneria to work effectively with a wide range of different Customers on an equally wide range of projects.
Cesit Ingegneria has a Technical Department with consolidated design capabilities in the various disciplines of plant engineering and safety. Our organisational structure enables us to draw up complete, coordinated projects, and to supply specialist, discipline-specific designs in conjunction with other professionals.
The experience we have acquired also enables us to take on projects with a high degree of complexity in terms of type, scale, logistics and realisation chains. We pay special attention to total system integration, energy-efficiency and environmental integrity, including in relation to the different certification protocols. Our technical design services to Customer-specification are subject to comprehensive project management processes in order to guarantee efficiency and Customer satisfaction. Our Customers interface both with the design manager and the project manager, who acts as a link between Customers and our technical personnel.
Cesit Ingegneria’s long-standing strategic decision to give priority to integrated design has never prevented it from offering Customers highly specialised services in individual disciplines.
Our services
Cesit Ingegneria’s main design activities are as follows:
• Preliminary design
• At this stage, our designers assess the possible design options against operational, economic and regulatory constraints, and provide Customers with the necessary input to decide which technical solution to adopt.
• Definitive design for the purposes of obtaining the necessary permits and authorisations and subsequent realisation
This stage involves the development of the essential elements of the project in all its technical and economic components, and the preparation of the plans needed for the purpose of obtaining the necessary authorisations (fire service, local health authority, national occupational health insurance).
• Preparation and follow-up of administrative proceedings and applications for authorisation
Our project managers take care of the preparation, presentation and follow-up of technical and administrative proceedings until the respective permits or authorisations are obtained.
•Conceptual design for the contract.
This involves in-depth study of the definitive design, and development of all the necessary details to define the project and the options for contracting and construction site management, thereby reducing the risk of reservations and disputes in the construction phase.
• Drafting of terms of supply, framework contracts, technical specifications, bills of quantities and price lists
• Safety design (safety coordination in the design phase)
• Preparation of performance documents for the maintenance and running of buildings and systems
• Validation of designs produced by third parties
Cesit Ingegneria undertakes the verification and validation of design plans for private Customers, by applying protocols defined in the quality assurance system.
